I thought this book was an interesting and fun read but it does not deserve higher than 3 stars because it is a compilation of a bunch of smaller stories and can't be considered something very beneficial towards the Percy Jackson series. after reading all of the other Percy Jackson books I couldn't help but want to learn more about this "Demi-God life" and that is exactly what the Demigod Files brings to the table

I enjoyed the original series, but this slim volume is best borrowed from the library, unless you or your child are/is a diehard fan. (I am told, however, that the stories are useful to read before heading into the second series - which is why I read them.)
