A 1898 biography by a Scottish philosopher of the nineteenth – early twentieth century Alexander Campbell Fraser. He devoted this book to the founder of the Scottish School of Common Sense, a nineteenth century philosopher Thomas Reid. The author was trying to present Reid in fresh light, offering a look into Reid’s early years, further life, education and work, and the development of the Common Sense Philosophy.
